Halloween costume filter: My wife and I (couple in our early/mid 30s) are thinking about going to
this Halloween party (currently second item down), titled "Masquerade Macabre." The organizers' suggested themes for costumes are below the fold. More inclined toward renting, but DIY is possible, too. Prefer an idea that works for a couple, but any suggestions appreciated!

For this year's Religious Studies Dept. Halloween party (theme: dress as a religious character), my partner and I want to go as Zombie Jesus and Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter. Is this offensive?
