I have a question that is similar to
this one but with an additional twist. I've never known what hair type is best for me, and to make matters worse, I'm getting married in less than two weeks and I don't know which up-do style works best. Please help me find a great up-do AND a permanent hairstyle to boot.

My understanding is that keratosis pilaris essentially is keratin plugs of my hair follicles. Were I to treat my keratosis pilaris with one of the various suggested treatments, would hair grow from the unplugged follicles?

I'm a guy with short hair. I don't use any product and it's sort of parted / flipped in the front. I pretty much just run my hand through it and that's how it stays. However, it's always easier to manipulate it after waking up in the morning (and thus ~24 hours after my last shower). After I shower and let it dry, it doesn't really stay up and is sort of lifeless - not sure why (maybe it's less oily from an active day and a night's sleep?) Might be a silly question, but is there a product that I can put in my hair after a shower to make it easier to manipulate, but without it looking like I have product in my hair?

Dear Ask Me, I have been growing my hair for 3 years, with a goal of donating to wigs for kids (gets wigs to young people with permanent hair loss, as in alopecia, and burn victims), this year I topped their requirement for a foot in length; I want your tips of ensuring the best possible preservation of the hair. I have kept it maintained, but I am hoping there is a "final stretch" treatment that will make it in top shape for donating (not necessarily 'shine', or looks, but strength, and fortitude).

I once had brown hair. Over the past ten years, it changed to grey and then to white, with very fast change during stressful periods periods in my life. After recently using a dermatological shampoo for seborrheic dermatitis, it's changing back to brown. Is this normal, why might it be happening, and might it be a problem?

My head hair is brown with wisps of grey at the temples. My facial hair is salt/pepper. I would really like some way of colouring my head hair grey. I know that greying is colour loss which is difficult to mimic. I am not interested in repeated temporary solutions as might be used in theatres. I would like something similar to the semi-permanent hair dyes and going to a hair salon for this would be fine.
Reason? Why not - it's just another colour. Or lack of it.
Upkeep would not be an issue if the result was good. Does such a process / product exist? Thanks.

I have coarse shoulder length hair that I blow dry and use med heat of straight iron to smooth, but it especially gets frizzy in humid weather. I use a straight iron and hair products to smooth it. When I go to beauty shop the beautician uses a 400 degree straight iron that gets it super smooth and straight, however I don't want to damage my hair using high temp on it daily. I have used these products on my hair to try to achieve smoothness: John Frieda Luminouscolor Glaze Clear Shine, Matrix Sleek Look Blow Down Extreme Creme, Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum, Aveeno Nourish & Style Soft Hold Gel Creme. Would a pomade help achieve this?
I really like Heidi Klum's current hair style, and my could look like it if I could get it as smooth as she gets hers
