I'm a mid-20s male who recently noticed some hair loss around the time I stopped taking the anti-depressant Remeron. Some online research tells me that hair loss is a fairly rare but not unheard-of side effect of this medication. How can I tell if my hair loss is actually from the medication, and how long does it typically take to start seeing new hair growth after stopping such a medication?

My scalp seems to react badly to most shampoos. I've only been able to use one brand (Pantene) for a while now. Help me figure out why/what to do?

Is frequently wearing hats a bad idea if you have dandruff? Some days it's cold enough to warrant a hat, but mostly I just like hats and not having to do my hair. Would styling it with hair product be any better or worse?

Gross Body Filter: I am female and have primarily straight brown, fairly fine hair. However, I frequently find these very curly, coarse black hairs growing on my scalp. (Dare I say pubic-like hairs?) What the hell are these hairs? Is this a hormonal problem or some sort of disorder? If so, what is it called?
