When I try to run Guitar Hero 3 for PC, GH3.exe will show up in the Task Manager, but the game does not launch. Until about 3 days ago, it was working fine. What's going on? [more inside]

Calling my fellow PS3 owners! Do the PS3 Singstar
microphones work with the PS3 versions of Guitar Hero: World Tour
and the Rockband
games? I have done some Google searching which has turned up responses ranging from "yes" to "no" to "maybe"... I'm hoping AskMe can turn up something a little more definitive.

Should I buy an xbox 360 to maximize my Rock Band experience (instead of getting the game for my Wii)? [more inside]

I'm thinking of buying Guitar Hero World Tour for the Wii for my niece and nephew for Christmas. I'd like for them to have separate presents to unwrap (or the option for me to buy part of it now, part of it later for another occasion). Can the drum kit be bought as a standalone product, or is it only available as part of the Band Kit? If I buy the Band Kit, are the different components (guitar, drums, microphone) in different boxes inside of the main box, or would I have to box the parts myself?

Is there any way to use to guitar controller for the Mac / PC version of Guitar Hero III on a PS2? There seem to be plenty of PS2 -> USB adapters out there - anything that goes the other way?

Ok, another guitar video game question in about a week. BUT, could someone please tell me if Guitar Hero is more fun on Wii versus Playstation 2 (I have both systems). I can't believe I have not tried this game before and would like to purchase it once for the best system. Thanks!

So after entering Stage Two* of Newbie Guitar Hero play, I decided to get all fancy and paint my guitar
. I had to take the thing apart to do so. In my eagerness to get it back together to see if I now had a nice looking 50$ paperweight, I did not wait as long as I should have to let the paint/varnish dry. Questions about repair and correction inside! [more inside]
