I am looking for a guitar teacher in either DC or Baltimore. I am at an intermediate level (mostly rock). I used to take lessons but haven't in about 8 years, so I'm rusty. I am looking for someone with an excellent reputation, which I am willing to pay for. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I play some classical guitar (mostly self-taught), and after watching a few flamenco videos on youtube and elsewhere, got enthusiastic about flamenco. How can I find a flamenco guitarist around Atlanta who would teach me? Are there good DVDs, or book/CD combinations for self-study?

I'm looking for a bluegrass mandolin and/or guitar teacher in new york city - specifically someone near Columbia University or on the upper west side (or who would travel there for lessons).
Have tried finding one on craig's list and looked at flyers at music stores.
Any suggestions on how to find such a teacher, or knowledge of such a person?
