Hi all, would greatly appreciate if you would help me find songs that deal with the subject of dealing with the daily grind of life. Definitely in the 'quietly motivational' aisle, but not necessarily motivational at all. Similar tracks include 'Get Down Saturday Night' by Oliver Cheatham, 'Breezem Out' by Lil Ugly Mane and 'Money Won't Pay' by Bo en. Links to those tracks inside. [more inside]

Well it happened. I'm officially bored with all my ipad/iphone games. The App store has exploded recently and I'm pretty binary on the things I like, plus I've got to share the device with another game-lover with different tastes . What are the best, new iPad/iPhone games? [more inside]

Coffee gurus: I'm looking for a good burr grinder with control over quantity as well as grind, if possible. Usage will be for a small french press. Recommendations?

I run a bi weekly group for job hunters and career changers. I will likely be doing the first Thursday of the month at 7pm for the in person meetings then I'll be doing Skypecast meetings as well in between. I want a regular schedule but I want to get a guage on a lot of people's daily grind. I have asked my group but many are bad when it comes to my polls.
Do you have kids? when are you done with their nightly routine? When do you eat dinner? Whatever...
I'm thinking Sunday afternoon/evening or Tuesday evening at 7 for the skypecast (can I start it later because they don't need to leave the house?).
In a nutshell, what would work for you? Or not work..
Sorry if this is really mundane but it helps me a lot. I run a lot of groups.

I am looking for a new pepper mill, but an Amazon search produces an overwhelming 800 results and very few customer reviews. So I turn to you, my Metafilter test market. I use the mill often enough that Target's selection just isn't cutting it anymore, but I don't know which models and brands offer the most bang for my buck. And, aren't Peugeots cars? It should be manual (not electric), it should have a variable grind, a heft in the hand, and a steel or red finish (though I prefer function over form). Tell me if you've got a great grinder. Thanks in advance everybody!
