I heard Green Tea is extremely good for you. If I drink it cold, will it give me the same benefits as hot green tea? I like the Snapple Green tea drink you can get in a glass bottle and you drink it cold. Thanks, Lynnie-the-pooh

What kind of green tea is U2 bassist Adam Clayton making in this video? I know a bit about loose-leaf tea, but I've never seen any sort of green tea leaves that look so gloopy and produce tea that is so bright green in color. Any ideas?

Can green tea be blended? I empty a pack of green tea leaves into my morning smoothie, so my question is.. do the leeaves have to be immersed in hot water for me to absorb the benefits of it? Or do I get the same benefits as long as the leaves are inside my body and being digested? It's much simpler to simply empty a bag into a smoothie rather than wait for water to boil and steep it. I want to know if I'm sacraficing any antioxident absorbtion.

I bought some loose green tea (packaged in a brown paper bag) maybe five months ago. I stuck the bag in a drawer and forgot about it. Now I just found it again (unopened) and it would make a cute little present. But… is still good? Tea doesnt go bad, does it?!

I am trying to make a topical lotion using epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), an antioxidant extracted from Green Tea. Does anyone have advice or experience doing this? I am especially interested sources for the EGCG and recommended potency. The intention is to make a treatment to help reduce to effects of sun exposure, while there are lotions available with EGCG as an ingredient, I would like to make one using it as the primary ingredient.
