I’m trying to get Adobe Photoshop CS3 on Snow Leopard to show me the colors I expect. I’m using it to do some basic color selection, which will ultimately be pasted into a Python script that generates data graphics for use on the web. Part of my workflow involves screen captures from a browser that get round-tripped through Photoshop and into code, so I need basic RGB hex values to stay consistent through the process.

I'm building a simple website for a "PumpkinFest" event that my son's school is running this fall. I'm OK with the HTML, but I'm looking for some help creating a background graphic. I'm not sure how to find a designer/Photoshop expert for help with this small project.

We're buying a new laptop for my wife tomorrow to replace her aging desktop. The only thing she'll use it for is to digitally scrapbook. The only program she'll use really is Photoshop CS2. Is it worth it to pay the extra to get a laptop with a real graphics card or will things work just as well with an motherboard solution such as the Intel 950 that uses your RAM to fuel it? Right now we're leaning towards the HP dv9207us. We'd like to know if it's overkill or with one of the 700$ specials you always see with motherboard built-in graphics work just as well? Help?

I have the opportunity to buy an used x Wacom intuos graphics tablet to use with my photoshop program. It would cost about $85.00 with shipping. It is being offered on e-bay without the software that the owner says is free to download from the Wacom site. My question is to those of you with Wacom experiance, would it be better for a newbe to go for the more expensive (new) wacom to take advantage of the provided software and hard copy instructions or do you think a person that is reasonalbly technologically proficient with computers / downloading etc. be able to get up to speed using advice typically found on the internet? Thank you...
