Reputation of Masters Programmes in Europe

I am saving to go to Europe to do a masters degree. I am interested in International Relations, International Law, Human Rights, and European Affairs (history and institutions of the EU, European Law). I'm Australian but I also have UK dual nationality. I am starting to investigate programmes but am finding it hard to narrow down the options and find the best one for me. My question is: how do I work out which master's programmes have the best/ worst reputation?

I know nothing about grad school; is it for me?

I am an older student (in my 50s), graduating with my first B.A. in December, in anthropology. I'm very sad to leave school, as I have really enjoyed my time there (well, in this iteration--not so much when I was much younger). I absolutely LOVE going to classes and learning new stuff. I love the idea of continuing to be a student, but I'm not sure if grad school makes sense. But, mostly, I really don't understand how grad school works: [more inside]

20's American in Japan, visa expires soon. Considering Grad school.

I'm a 27 year-old living in Japan teaching English, with my visa running out at the end of August. I'm trying to decide on what to do next - work (more) or pursue a Masters in Asia-Pacific studies. I am rather scatterbrained, and have no clue where to get started logistics-wise in going for a graduate degree. If I were to go down this route, I would also like to narrow down some career paths I could take post-graduation. [more inside]

Getting a master's degree when disillusioned with academia?

I've always been drawn to science and research and I'm strongly considering going to graduate school to get a master's degree in computer science (location: Sweden) and maybe even aim for an academic career. But my recent experiences with academia has left my disillusioned, sad and angry. Can I get my degree without GRARing all the time? How? [more inside]

How can I improve my odds of getting into graduate school for economics?

I want to get a Master's in Economics in a few years, probably focusing on real estate finance and affordable housing finance. How good are my chances of getting into a good program, and what can I do to improve them? [more inside]
