Should I pursue an MA in Higher Education Administration?

I am currently working my dream job in the Advancement/Development office of my alma mater. I've only been there four months, but I love it and they are already talking about promoting me! Yay! The only problem is that I need to earn Masters degree if I want to travel the career trajectory my boss plans for me. I have applied and been accepted at a relatively good Higher Education Administration graduate program with a concentration in fundraising management, and am due to start a summer class in just a few weeks, but I am feeling unsure. Grad school exit interview

I'm leaving my graduate advisor's lab (engineering/biochemistry) after getting a PhD and spending some time as a postdoc there as well. The two of us are going to have lunch in a few days as a farewell/exit interview, and I'd like advice on what questions I could ask him that would be the most helpful for me. [more inside]

What Do Foreign Service/Intelligence Grad Programs Expect of Me?

My senior year as an Undergraduate begins this Fall. I go to a large public school that is heavily recruited from by the CIA/NSA etc... I am a Political Science/Russian double major with a 3.81 GPA. How do I list a one-time (post-bac) college course on academic resume?

Making a fancy CV/resume for grad school application (a masters in art education). I got my BA 6 years ago (sort of unrelated field), I took a class semi-related to my field of interest last summer at a good university. Is it odd to list this one course in the education section of my grad school resume? Do I list my grade (which was an A)? Where would you put it?

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood... and I took the one where I went crazy for a month to raise my score 40 points... and that uh... has made all the difference?

GRE-Filter: I was happy with my GRE scores. Then, I received word that I have the opportunity to get into a super-duper-top-tier doctoral program previously inaccessible. However, my Quantitative Score--while still in the range of accepted scores over the years for this program--is now less-than-stellar relatively speaking. Is it crazy to think I could study intensely for about a month and improve my score 30-50 points? Am I overthinking this? [more inside]
