I will be traveling from Utah to British Columbia with my family and visiting the area for two weeks. I want to use a GPS and am not sure whether to get 1) a bluetooth GPS receiver, coupled to one of our idevices, 2) a cheap Android phone, or 3) a standalone automobile GPS. [more inside]

Hi there, I'm looking for advice on the right GPS unit. This would be my first purchase but I have used a few in the past and I know what didn't work for me and what did. I've read a bit but to be honest I still don't have a clue about manufacturers, specific models, chipsets and everything else. I was wondering if y'all could help? [more inside]
