WTF Google News? Is it me or did Google just implement a change that means if you click on the the News tab, it clears the search field, forcing me to re-type what I was JUST searching for? How, in the name of all that is holy, do I make it stop?

Is there any way to set google news' preferences to ignore headlines from certain sites? Lately, I'm seeing a lot of links to rabid right-wing op-eds from the Wall Street Journal and TownHall.com and Fox News where I'd much rather read real news from real newspapers. I didn't see an ignore option in the preferences section... am I not looking in the right place? Do I need to find a new news aggregator?

My organization's web site was recently redesigned (late May), and since then, Google News has dropped us as a news source! The Google Gods are vain and capricious! What can I do? [more inside]

Why do the most professional news web sites so often - and increasingly often - include bad or wrong links? I'm talking NYT, WP, Daily Telegraph and Google News et al. (For a recent example, click on the Researching the New Joy of Sex highlight in today's Observer and you get this.)
