I have a spreadsheet that has students’ names and their class schedules. We want to be able to email the class schedule to the students using an email mail merge. I am willing to use Excel/Word or Google Docs/Sheets. The company I work for is starting to use Google Docs more frequently. I'd like to jump in with both feet. One of the things I'm most interested in is getting up to speed on using Google Apps Script as an end user who makes frequent but basic use of macros in Excel (so not so much as a developer or other high skill user). What's the word for when a website's malfunctioning makes you feel trapped and panic-achey in your hands and arms? For example, right now any Google Spreadsheet is stuck "Working..." and I can't get cells to update even though I can type in them. I'm using e-claustrophobia as a working word, but is there another name for this?

I've got a kid enjoying high school theater, and I'd like to help. My skills do NOT run to hammers or sewing machines, but I can work Chrome / Google Docs / databases like a pro. The costume designer is wishing for a way to track student measurements, costume notes, and pictures / photos in some sort of online / app format for going to fabric stores and keeping track of sewing progress. She's coveting an iPad mini to use with it, so I guess an app would be fine. I'd prefer a Chrome / Google Doc option, because I'm cheap. In Excel (or Google Docs) is there away to divide the value in a cell by the number of cells selected? So if I have a value of x and I then highlight 10 cells, each of the 10 cells would show x divided by 10. As I select less cells, the value in each cell increases because x is being divided by less. The main reason I want to do this is to show how much I'd need to save per month to reach a specific total.
