what sort of device can I buy to show my google tasks next to a corkboard, so I see them on my way out the door?
do any photo frames do wireless sync? my first thought was a cheap old itouch, but the screen is tiny, and it does more than I need.
low power use would also be a plus (i.e. not a laptop or cheap desktop with wall mounted monitor, which I also thought of - I do have an extra 17" sitting around)
I could consider switching to another tasks app if required for the best solution, though I do enjoy gtasks in gmail and calendar.

How can I sync an online calendar feed (xml) with either iCal or Google Calendar? I know I can sync iCal and gCalendar easily through several methods. But what I also need to include is my department's events calendar. I can import it as an iCal or Outlook file, but this is only a one-time option. Once the department's calendar is updated I don't receive the new or changed events. And I suspect if I import the (newer) file again, I will get many duplicates. The calendar has an xml feed I could subscribe to, but can't figure out how to translate this into a calendar that automatically syncs or updates. Willing to consider any options that would lead to the online calendar (.ics, .csv, or .xml file) being auto updated to any calendar application. This would make my life so much easier! Thanks!

We have a directory of indexed PDFs of back issues of an academic journal we publish. Can I make it so that Google can see the text (so searchers will see when a journal issue contains the keyword they're looking for), but won't give up the direct link to the full PDF? We sell access to back issues and reprints.

I use google voicemail on my Motorola Droid. When someone leaves a message that includes a phone number that is different from the number they're calling from, google does a good job of transcribing it. As far as I can tell, however, there's no simple way of calling back that spoken, transcribed number. Instead, I have to memorize it, switch over to phone and key it in (and forget a few digits and switch back and forth and crash the car etc). I feel like maybe I'm just missing something simple, but I'm coming up empty searching for an answer. Does anyone know if it's possible?

How do I add new sites to the Google custom search engine that I've created? Strangely, the control panel doesn't give me that option. If this isn't possible, what other tools can I use to specify which sites I want Google to search? This search engine isn't one that I'm publishing; it's for my own use.

Gmail security: Someone keeps trying to recover, or change, the password for my gmail account. I'd previously set my gmail recovery option to send me an SMS, and I'm getting a lot of SMSes saying, "Your Google Account recovery code is: ... If you did not request this code, you can safely ignore this message". I've already changed my secret question to be really obscure, but what else should I do to protect my account? Every couple of weeks, I get bombarded with SMSes because someone is trying to access my account. Can I temporarily disable the recovery option? I'm just worried that someone might guess the answer to my secret question by brute force or some other means.
