Tool to manage multiple Gmail accounts?

Finding a news article

I have a quote from and a link to an AP article published a few months ago. Problem is, searching for the quote on Google gives no relevant results, the link now goes to an error page saying the article was not found, and I can't find the article in a search of the AP archives. What to do?

Make many points on Google Maps

How do people create Google Maps with a lot of different points selected, like this? Is there an easy way to do this from the main Google Maps site or do you have to have some extra programming done? I'd really like to enter two or three addresses and mark all their points on the same map (without having to do directions, and thus the route between them).

Google dropped this site

A friend of mine has a little page where he sells books and stuff. He says it used to come up in Google, but no more. Yahoo finds it. It's a free site that came with his internet account, I think. Why did Google lose it? Is it just that Google is blocking these personal sites from this provider, cox.net?

Safari + Google = no tabbed browsing

I'm having a strange problem with Safari and Google: if I run a google search and command-click on a result (to open it in a new tab) about 90% of the time it will open in the main tab, thus only allowing me to click through to one result at a time. This makes me very unhappy, as I loved using tabs to quickly sort through search results. I haven't had any problems using command-click on other sites. [more inside]

Will the real quotation please stand up?

When a quotation is longer than a few words, Googling for it usually brings up a wide range of variations (example). Anyone have a good strategy for finding the actual quotation verbatim, in situ, when you don't know the exact wording at the outset? Or, failing that, a citation for the quotation in the example above?

Most Expensive Google Answer

What's the most ever paid for a Google Answer? The FAQ says up to $200, but surely that must have been surpassed by now - the page is stamped at 2003. The pricing page has the same numbers. Are there answers out there worth more than $200 to somebody?

Where did I read this?

How to get un-blacklisted from Google

I run a popular regional community site that I believe was banned by Google due to practices of the former owner of the domain name. How do stars work in Google?

How do stars work in Google? David Beaver describes a series of searches using multiple asterisks in this Language Log post; specifically, he says: "there is * * * * a house in New Orleans" gets, at time of writing, precisely the same number of hits, 3560, as "there is a house in New Orleans" But when I click on the former, I only get two hits. Finding old, out of print comic books online?

Digital Comics: I'm looking to download .cbr and .cbx archives of comic books. Not so I can steal the latest X-Men book (though I know piracy is rampant in this sphere), but so I can read interesting and long out of print books on my computer. The Metal Men, for example, fascinate me.

The trouble is, I can't seem to find any repositories of old comics via Google, BitTorrent, etc. I know they're out there - any help?
