Big Cookie

Google likes to sign you into their search service once you sign into Youtube. It used to not be like this. I prefer to be logged into Youtube but not Google search/images/maps/docs/etc.. Is there any way to do this?

compressed day

Is there any way to vertically stretch out google calendar, so it displays the range of time that coincides with my workday? I can do this in iCal, but would like gcal to do this too, if at all possible.

Did You Mean

Google search was great, until now. Now it asks you "Did you mean this" and then populates the first two results with the term you didn't type, but Google thinks you MUST have meant, because they are smarter than you. So, what's a good search engine for someone who loves the old google search simplicity? (P.S. Live and Yahoo are far worse)
