When I clicked on this article from this FPP, I got 3 Google text ads, 2 of which are directed at personal information about me. So I signed out of Google, cleared my cache, history, cookies, etc., and clicked on the link again. Same ads. How? [more inside]

Whenever I'm actively browsing the web, I like to keep a tab open to my Gmail account. But I don't particularly want my Google searches to be linked to the Gmail account. Is there any way to prevent this?
