I live in the Bay Area, where can I buy small (~250 ml), screwtop glass bottles? I'd prefer not buying online because shipping charges are huge and I'm not looking for a bulk order. [more inside]

Where can I buy a glass blowing kit in either Boston or Toronto? I am looking for something that would allow a beginner to get started right away. Has to be a brick-and-mortar store; this is a short-notice gift, and online orders would take too long to arrive.

I have recently acquired an old church and it has three huge 17’ x 24’ stained glass windows. These windows were installed in 1911 and are very beautiful but I am not interested in keeping them for various reasons. I am looking for suggestions as to where to start to find a gallery or collector that may be interested in buying them also I would like to find who the original artist was that designed them. Any advice and guidance is appreciated.

Craft Filter: (this question is from my sister-in-law)
"Any suggestions for mounting Art Glass (Fused) Tiles?
Sizes are 8 in by 11 in and 3 in by 3 in. No wires were fused in the tiles for hanging purposes.
Should I bond to plexiglass as base? If so, how? What adhesive should I use? Any other suggestions?"

I was in an office today where a window had been converted into a whiteboard by installing a translucent white film on the outside of the glass. Does anyone know what to ask for to get something like this? Bonus points if you can point to a supplier in Western Australia.

I installed a clear glass shower enclosure in November 2005. After showering, I use Tilex Fresh Shower on the glass. Now, after nearly 20 months, the glass has something that looks like "build-up" (see picture
) that I cannot get rid of. I've used Windex and all its equivalents, white vinegar, Tilex Tub and Tile cleaner, The Works, Kaboom, CLR, lime remover, and even bleach on a small section. I also used a razor blade thinking it might be able to be scraped off but there does not seem to be build up on the surface; it is smooth to the touch. Any idea how I can clean this so that the glass is clear again?
