Need help finding the glasses found in Don's office in Mad Men (as seen on the season 3 dvd/blu ray cover
here and
here).
Just want to buy them, assume similarity with these glasses, not price, is the priority.

Short and sweet... Does anyone happen to have a ballpark figure for the percentage of light reflected by a 'standard' sheet of glass and a 'standard' sheet of perspex of similar thickness?

So, I've been saving all the nice mason jars that Classico pasta sauce comes in for sometime and decided I could do with a nice set of mugs. But I'm unsure of how to best attach handles.

Please help me find the perfect water glass. Fortunately, I know exactly what it is. Unfortunately, I can't find it anywhere in the world. Maybe because the last time I saw one was in the late 1940s?

Looking for a source of 3-4mm straight tubular glass beads to finish the exposed edge of a row of wall tile. The length of the beads should not be over 15mm. I have been searching jewelry beading supply houses and have only been able to find .02mm diameter bugle (straight tubular) beads which are too small to cover the exposed edge of the tile. I am willing to consider other materials (SS hypo tubing?) if glass is impossible to find. Any ideas?

I accidentally broke a single glass window pane in my apartment. I couldn't believe how easily it broke, but now I see that it's 1/16th of an inch thick! No wonder! Landlord wants me to pay for the repair, I want ALL my windows replaced with 1/8" panes for free!

Can you identify these wine (water? sherry? liqueur?) glasses? Pics

I'm moving out of a house I'd rented, and my dogs at one point had eaten the plastic "trim" pieces that are on the outside of the back door, which is your average metal-framed swinging with a big full-length dual-paned glass window. the damage isn't really to the door or the glass; it's to this stupid plastic trim that's around and within the glass that makes up a grid of squares. I don't know what this trim is called. Bonus question: Can I just replace the trim and not the door? Home Depot was, unsurprisingly, unhelpful.

I cut the lower half of my palm with a piece of shattered glass this afternoon. The cut was about 1/4" long, fairly deep, and about half an inch under the base of my pinky. I applied pressure, washed the wound with plenty of soap and water, and applied peroxide before putting on a band-aid. The bleeding has stopped and the edges of the cut seem comfortably closed up, but I experience a dull pain when I bend my pinky finger. The rest of my fingers feel fine, but I can't fully bend my pinky due to the pain. I've buddy-taped it for now, but I'm curious as to whether this is just my body's response to the pain from the cut or whether I might have damaged a nerve.
