About 15 years ago, I gave the GF a pair of diamond earrings. Nothing grand – we were both young and poor – about 5/8 carat. When I found out she was cheating, I demanded them back (among other things). Flash forward 15 years – I am now married (to someone else obviously), and just came across the long forgotten earrings in an old box. [more inside]
