I missed out on buying tickets to the only London gig my favourite artist is playing this year (and on top of this he hasn't toured in three years) so I ended up asking my disabled friend if she'd come with me if I paid her ticket. This meant I was able to get tickets to the already sold-out gig after the standard tickets had long gone. While booking, I also realised that the disabled seats area is a prime spot in the venue and very near the stage. Was it immoral that I would "use" my friend's disability to enable me to go see this gig (in a better spot than I could've ever hoped), albeit with her consent/blessing?

How do I hire someone in New York City that can provide a very unique service for a bachelorette party? This would involve specific timing, possibly a costume, decent voice, decent looks, heaps of charm.

You're standing at a rock concert. The support band is, at best, reasonable. You've no inclination to dance, but find yourself with neither pint nor cigarette nor shoulder bag to hold. What on earth do you do with your hands?

So I trundled along to Ticketmaster.co.uk to get Wembley tickets for Bon Jovi. I've been to a few different gigs in my time - and always the best "premium/gold" seats are completely sold out before we even get a look in. Is there a secret way to get these tickets, or are they instantly booked up by media/music types?

Does anyone make an expandable, portable stereo digital music recorder? Several hard-disk MP3 players now support voice recording in mono.
Korg has a cool little four-track recorder that unfortunately uses SmartMedia (128MB limit). This would be for a musician who likes to record every gig, but can't afford to hire a professional to mic every instrument. At the moment, he uses a consumer-grade minidisc recorder and a high quality stereo mic.

GuitarAmeaturQuestion: I'm performing with my guitar tonight (I'm playing, someone else is singing). Now I can play the song alright, but this will be my first time playing in front of a large group since I started playing (about 6 months ago). During the auditions for this event I got nervous enough that my fingers trembled slightly making it hard for me to play (obviously).
Any tips on how to stay calm during the real thing and play okay (besides the cliched "picture them in their underwear" thing)? Advice from guitar players and non-guitar players alike is most welcome.
