Our 4th wedding anniversary is coming up in a couple of weeks and I want to give the traditional gift of fruit. I'm thinking of something like those crazy Japanese melons (although not SO expensive). A couple of steps up from Harry and David. Does such a service exist in the SF Bay area?

I'm searching for an awesome 5th anniversary gift, made from wood or silver, with an adventure-y theme (this can be pretty loosely interpreted). It'll be a supplement to a primary gift I've already splurged on, so I'm looking for something <$100. My only idea so far has been a compass, but the wooden ones are more like decorative desk sets (I'd prefer something practical and usable) and the silver ones are either really expensive or really ugly. It's for a man, and he doesn't wear much jewelry. And I need to be able to get it by Friday. Help!

I want to buy my dad a nice pen (preferably the Parker brand), but googling and amazoning around has only made me more confused about what pen to get. [more inside]

My husband and I will be celebrating our first (paper) wedding anniversary this Friday. We're really short on funds, so I'm thinking of folding him something with origami and writing our vows or a poem on the unfolded paper... Any suggestions on what to fold? [more inside]

Our next door neighbors (who we really like a lot) are celebrating their tenth wedding anniversary. The traditional gift for no. 10 is aluminum/tin. What would be a fun/useful/romantic/cool gift for us to get them based on this theme/material? Budget = around $50.

My wife and I are approaching our fifteenth anniversary, which, by tradition, is the crystal anniversary. We don't need stemware, and we don't do new age healing. Do you have any suggestions for gifts?

Got any last minute (dating) anniversary gifts? She's not into flowers, jewelry, spas, or much girly stuff, and I don't trust myself to get her clothes.
