My dad will be sober for 26 years in a couple weeks, and being that AA is such a huge part of his life, I wanted to get him something really special. I'm not familiar with AA so I was hoping to get some suggestions both from people in the program as well as general ideas about a gift. [more inside]

I just found out that my best friend is 6 weeks pregnant. I was hoping to get both traditional and unique gift ideas. All I've come up with is flowers but I want to do something special for her. Any ideas?
