So I had this strange rash on my hands- clusters of tiny little blisters, in between my fingers, on my palm, and anywhere where there's a crease. It's pretty persistent but after two months it has mostly gone away- except it jumped off my hands and went a little bit... downtown. [more inside]

Does anyone know which Greek philosopher introduced the idea that African men have overly large genitals, and in which work he wrote this? Also, can anyone point me to the renaissance work that attributed the supposed inferiority of black people to the curse of Cain? I've heard of (and I think read) both of these, but cannot remember the references. Any information abouts attempts to blame white racism on black folks themselves would be helpful, actually.

This is for the biologists. Humans tend to be very symmetrical, either having one thing often in the middle (nose, genitals, mouth), or two things evenly placed (eyes, nostrils, legs). That said, do humans have three of anything? (We have three ear bones, but in each ear.. totalling 6, so that fails!)
