Does anyone know of any US stores that stock Goggle Jackets? I'd like to try one on. Sounds like they're popular among the chavs and anti-CCTV crowd; the only people selling them online are UK based. Any stores (online or off) that sell them on this side of the pond?

What's with the persistent gas-mask motif one finds in so much contemporary graffiti & "street art"? I first noticed it a number of years back in Banksy's work, but now it seems to be pretty much ubiquitous. Is there some association or cultural resonance (beyond the obvious Great War and Pink Floyd references) to this iconography that I'm missing?

What is this poster? Who made it? Can I buy a print somewhere? I found this poster up inside a fence at on Grand St. between 6th Ave & Varick in Manhattan. I like it. Anybody have any information about it whatsoever?

I couldn't get any closer to get a better photo.

Can you provide context for a gas masked army of children? I'd like to know the who, where and when of this photo, a piece of internet flotsam that washed up via fffound₁. It's both creepy and intriguing. I've cursorily tried to identify the uniforms, and gas masks - probably Soviet WWII, but I'm quite open to being wrong. A flickr copy of it suggests that it was originally posted to vintagephoto.

I get a bit concerned about my lungs when I paint, saw, sand, blow dust around, or use nasty chemical solvents. Anyone have any gas and/or dust mask recommendations?
