I have a gamecube but the only game I have enjoyed immensely is Resident Evil 4. Didn't like the other Resident Evil games' controls and such. I just bought a pretty high-end Dell PC with a large LCD monitor. It's got dual Core2 CPUs @ 2.66GHz, 4 GB of RAM, and a decent graphics card. The monitor is a widescreen 27" Dell Ultrasharp. So far, I like the PC. But I was disappointed to find that the first PC game I tried (BioShock) runs TERRIBLY. The game does run pretty well on my slightly older PC, which only has a 19" monitor. So, I think the large, widescreen monitor is the problem. Is that correct? Are there tricks to running the latest games on a large LCD monitor? Many thanks in advance for any advice and insight.

Trying to remember a videogame. It was an early version of those cartoon games, like Dragon-whatever, which were basically just cartoon clips linked together, and you had to do the right joystick/button thing to keep them going. It had a Japanimation look, I think a spy theme, and the only clip I definitely remember was where you were driving this little car horizontally across a basically vertical cliff. I know that's not much to go on, but it's driving me nuts...

I remember back in '89 or '90 playing a single player arcade game where the main character looked like a barbarian and weilded a large sword. You could also find an axe later.
