I teach a lesson on interpersonal conflict where we used to have the students arm wrestle one another. Unfortunately, arm wrestling is a little too violent. I'm looking for a substitute game.

Hooookay. So I've been asked to play in a charity poker tournament. I'm fierce at craps and was a pool shark in my past life so it appeals to me, but I've just never had a weekly poker game or anything... truth is I haven't played poker in years.

When I was in high school my friends would play this game that involved the following: take a wooden broom; saw off the head; saw the remaining stick into two pieces, one long and one short (about 4"); whittle the short end into a spike. Then to play the "game" you would dig a small hole into the ground and position the sharp end of the stake over it, hit the tip with the longer piece of the broom and whack it on the way up.

I'm trying to find a little Japanese flash game I found in either 08 or 09. It was a cute, quirky thing where you were a little sumo and you had to smash small things to build up your strength - eventually going to to smash very large things like temples and bits of mountain.

When I was a kid I played a DOS game that involved a man running through mazes and avoiding man-eating worms to collect pieces to build a knight. The game ends with the completed knight fighting a dragon. Does anyone have any idea what this game was called?

I'd like to play the board game Clue either through a web browser or an iPad/iPhone app. Ideally I could play against a friend or friends where we sign in/sign up and AI fills in as the other players as needed. If the playing-against-friends part isn't possible, then playing against random people online or AI would be fine. I've seen a Clue game on the App Store, but it's "Clue" in name only, not the actual board game. Maybe there's a Clue ripoff somewhere that follows the same room/weapon/character whodunit format? Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

There's some game on the 360 that exists or was in development at some point in the past year that is a strategy game using hexagon shaped "towers" of land as a board. I think it was turnbased and used words (but not sure about the words part - but I think it involved a scrabble like setup) Somehow you would "stomp" the hexagon shaped towers and they would slowly lower until a certain point then they would fall making the play area smaller. Anybody know what I'm talking about?

After reading
this answer, I tried playing the programming-esque game
Manufactoria. I loved it immediately. The first two levels were perfectly simple and didn't require a second of thought, but I keep futzing with level three (Robolamps). I seem to get very close to success over and over, but after 2 days I can't get a proper solution. I have no programming experience at all, but I seem to have an unnatural amount of patience for trying to figure this out, and think the basic concepts aren't challenging at all yet, at this completely basic level-- I just think I might be missing a crucial concept or two.

Looking for a mid-90s PC puzzle game based on a cube. Holo or Light or something -- New age/tribal music... I don't remember exactly how it worked, but you try to get the marked side of the cube to land face down on a specific square on a grid (I think the location kept moving, though I'm not sure). Anyways, it might have come with my old IBM Pentium as a prepackaged thing. Any ideas?
