I'm looking for the best product - case or wallet - to boost the battery life of a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. My previous Galaxy had a removable battery so this was easy, but the sealed design of the snazzy new models means I need some options. [more inside]
I have used the Galaxy Note2,3,4, and I loved them. I specifically love the removable battery, and the external sd card slot, along with the huge screen and really long battery life. Help me pick my next smart phone (as the note 5 has no removable battery/ micro sd card) [more inside]
Mrs Maninsuit is hard to reach on her phone. She sometimes turns the volume down and forgets to turn the volume back up. She sometimes has it in her purse or her pocket and doesn't hear/notice its ringing. I want to be able to reach her! And she wants me to be able to reach her (or at least so she says, bless her heart). Are there good solutions? She has a Samsung Galaxy S4. [more inside]
I recently got my first smartphone - the Galaxy S5 - and having the web and email on my phone is way too distracting. I want to make my phone distraction-free (inspired by the distraction-free iPhone). Basically I want to stop myself from constantly checking my email and surfing the on my phone, but retain the ability to use email and the web if I really need them when I'm out. Any ideas on how to make my Galaxy S5 distraction free? [more inside]

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 on the Bell network in Canada. It is bloated with bloatware, and most apps can't actually be transferred to the SD card i've mounted. So i have a phone without much stuff i actually want on it, and tons of stuff that i don't, and i want to fix that situation - but i'm nervous. I've seen various solutions on message boards and stuff online, but i'm very wary of downloading zip files from random message boards, for a solution that may or may not work for my phone. I am looking at getting a new phone with a big-ass screen, primarily for browsing. I've narrowed it down to an LG Pro 2, Sony T2 Ultra, or Galaxy Note 3 - but I need to know if anyone actually uses the space-age stylus. [more inside]
So I didn't really want to use a question on this, but earlier today I was out taking the camera on my new S5 for a spin. The results are beautiful. The problem is that at some point during the day, I managed to drop my phone about four feet onto the metal footplate of my electric wheelchair. I'm wondering if this may have killed the maniacally fast autofocus I thought I had going for me earlier in the day. [more inside]
I have a Galaxy S4 and I generally transfer pics from it to a Windows 8.1 PC via USB, connecting up the Samsung as an external hard drive, navigating down to the DCIM folder on the camera's external SD card, then dragging & dropping. Recently, all my photos more recent than Feb 2014 are not visible via Windows Explorer even though the camera itself shows that those photos are indeed stored in the same folder on the external SD card that has all the pre-Feb photos. What gives? Are they hidden form view somehow?
I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 running Android 4.3 (mmm jelly beans). I frequently use my phone to listen to podcasts via Doggcatcher or audiobooks via Audible. Since the update to 4.3, when audio is playing, the lockscreen defaults to showing a Doggcatcher or Audible widget, meaning I have to swipe in order to get to the lockscreen proper to see e.g. the clock, which is most frequently what I'd like to see. I would like it to stop doing this. [more inside]
I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 on 3. I get extremely little reception at home and a signal booster doesn't help. Is there a hardware solution, like a special case, wire, foil, etc I could use at home to boost my signal? homemade ideas and commercial ones welcome.

I am getting a Tablet for work, either a Nexus 10 or an iPad. I'm pretty well versed on the features and drawbacks for both, and I feel like if my other devices were either all Apple or all Google/Windows I'd make the choice based on matching my current device operating system ecosystem. BUT right now, each device I use has a different OS, so is there a better device to match my tablet operating system with? [more inside]

I am looking for advice on finding the best smart phone deals. I have an old clamshell phone. I need very little for myself...not even texting though want the occasional use of apps. I am currently moving to Denver and may switch from AT&T though my wireless and phones are bundled and very cheap ($90/mo for our two cheap phones and wireless for home though that would change *a lot* with upgrades?). I am really confused on what the hell is a decent deal. I don't make many calls whatsoever but my wife will be calling family or perhaps using Face Time/Messaging via an iPhone if we can afford. We don't need the newest and best phones but am not sure where to start for packaging costs, especially as we may do wireless separate once we get to Denver. Any thoughts on how you would go about this, where you would buy a phone (new or refurb), deals that have worked for you (assuming you don't use the phone for a lot but still want the options of some of the apps). iPhone? Samsung? Razr? Carriers recommendations? I want to go as low $ as possible but not make a stupid decision out of pinching the hell out of the pennies.
