I know I can build computers myself. But I want to buy a notebook. And I want it already fully built, with a nice in-store warranty. However, I want NO SOFTWARE along with it. Absolutely none. Am I entitled to that? [more inside]

In March 2004, I purchased a 20 gigabyte iPod at Future Shop (major Canadian electronics chain, owned, I think, by Best Buy). I added on the extended warranty, after the salesperson told me that it was a replacement warranty and if anything went wrong I could bring my iPod in and they'd give me a new one. [more inside]
