What are some upbeat songs by happy, playful musicians?

I love songs of any musical genre that feature multiple musicians sitting in a room together, playing upbeat music, and clearly having a very good, very playful time doing so. The musicians’ pleasure is infectious, and I can listen to these songs on "repeat" endlessly. Can you recommend some songs like this? (Examples within.) [more inside]

Pandora and Spotify don't get it.

I am currently obsessed with the first minute of Some Nights by Fun. I've thought a lot about it and I think it's the a capella with multiple distinct harmonies and the clap beat that really delight me. Suggest other songs / artists I'd also like. [more inside]

a little bit goes a long way if you do it every day

I am a big fan of consistency- the rewards that can be reaped by simply doing something often over a long period of time are like slow motion magic. Please tell me about some of the things that you do for a few minutes a day to reap mega rewards in the future. [more inside]

I'm going to be in Hamilton, ON for the rest of the summer with a pretty lax schedule, pretty empty wallet and pretty much nobody I know. What is there to do, see and enjoy in the GTA for someone as myself? [more inside]

Indie/electro clubs in Japan?

Can anyone recommend good clubs in Japan (especially Tokyo) that play music that would appeal to your typical Pitchfork reader? I'm thinking along the lines of indie electro/pop/rock music, a bit of hip hop in there, and maybe some older favourites.

What to do in Pittsburgh between October 16th to the 19th?

I am a student in Critical and Curatorial Studies in Toronto and some class-mates and I are going on a field trip to Pittsburgh this Thursday - Sunday. We will be seeing all the museums and galleries but I was wondering if you could suggest any concerts, cool events, vintage shopping areas and anything of interest going on.
