Help Me Give The Gift Of Drunkeness: What can I infuse in these
little jars? I got a case of them as a gift and I want to turn it around into another gift, little jars of infused vodka, but I have some questions, mostly about making them pretty. [more inside]

Kirkland Dried Blueberries
are far larger and plumper than any other dried blueberries I've ever seen, akin to a ball bearings, but they're sweetened. Can I find get an unsweetened dried blueberry like that, or is the process that makes them sickly sweet also what makes them so much larger than usual?

What's the best way to store apples for the long term? I've got a serious honeycrisp apple addiction going and I want to keep eating them when they're out of season. Supposedly they keep for 3-4 months in the fridge. Is this true? Can I freeze apples and thaw them later? Will freezing destroy the texture or flavor?

What is this fruit? It looks like a kumquat, orange, sort of soft outside skin. Inside it has red gooey seeds, like a passionfruit. It is not sweet smelling, nor does it taste very good.

This question is for chronic hand-washers that use soap. Why is it not alright to wash your hands with just water before a meal, but it's perfectly kosher to just rinse a piece of fruit off under the faucet before consumption? [more inside]
