What is a good lightweight anti-spyware/anti-virus application that wouldn't slow down an already old, slow computer, and would act as an extra layer on top of good behavior and careful Firefox usage? [more inside]

Laptop Clean XP Install:
1] My (on board?) sound card is unrecognised. How do I find out what drivers to use?

2] What programs do you really think I need? I already have VNC, VLC, Firefox, Thunderbird and AVG installed. What else should I add? (Freeware/OS appriciated but not needed.) [more inside]

File Management Filter - I'm looking for a piece of software (Windows XP / preferably free), that will:

1 - Create directories on a daily or weekly basis (i.e. 2211, 2311, 2411) to store downloaded files, and/or: 2 - Move the 'oldest' set of files to a subdirectory - or CD/DVD archive

Any ideas?

I'm in need of a silly freeware utility that would let me make a list of folders and their contents on my hard drive. I've tried googling "directory List" + Util, but come up with lots of noise, no signal. Can someone point me to such an applet?

I'm looking for a RSS Aggregator to use on WinXP. I'd prefer one that has its own front-end instead of using a browser. Basically something that works like a Newsreader or e-mail program. Free would be good. Any recommendations? Thanks. [more inside]
