Software for Mac OS X that efficiently handles thousands of RAW, JPEG, etc. images files-- and any other file types-- with a nice, big viewer for the image files; but please keep in mind, the software should primarily be a duplicate file finder. [more inside]

I just installed a new hard drive in my older (early 2008, 4 GB ram) macbook pro laptop and installed Snow Leopard. I need an office application, something like Open Office. What's the best current "stable" version of this OSS software for Mac OS 10.6 (Snow Leopard)? [more inside]

Can you recommend some free (or very, very cheap) puzzle/trippy/adventure-type games for a non-Intel Mac running OSX 10.4.11?

Can someone point me in the direction of a free Mac program that will run in the background, automatically taking screenshots at a set interval?

Does anyone know of a free (emphasis on FREE) program for Mac (or something I can run through X-11) that can either 1. rip just part of a CD track to MP3 or 2. create a new file from part of an MP3? I'm annoyed with "hidden" tracks that introduce 15 minutes of silence when my iPod is on random.

What's the best (free, easy to install, doesn't hog resources) emai list software for OS X?
I've been running Macjordomo, but it is buggy and hogs resources, slowing down my machine. I manage about 10 local lists, with not more than 20 members of each list.
I thank you, MeFi gestalt...
