Guerilla-coder Javascript filter: Rather than wait 12-18 months to get my project idea into my company's queue, I'm trying to find a workaround. It's going to be ugly. It's going to be messy. And I have no idea how to do it.
Bottom line: My company's web portal has a top frame that I can control, and a bottom frame controlled by Web IT. Can I add an event listener to the top frame that will watch the bottom frame and excecute when it's done loading? [more inside]

A two part kitchenware/decorating question. Ok, the two parts have not much to do with each other. Except they are both in my house. a) how to hang large photographic prints without frames in a way that looks cool and b) I'm making a lot of yogurt these days and straining it with cheesecloth. The cheesecloth gets kind of funky after a while. What can I use instead or how can I wash it? [more inside]

I am interested in wall-mounted individual LP frames that also allow me to slip the LP out easily — both for listening and fast LP swapping for re-decorative purposes. Has anyone seen a product like this around?

Where can I get cheap 11"x17" poster frames? This size is really hard to find in shops, despite being a standard size for concert/theatre posters. The cheapest I've found in Toronto is CA$17 a piece, for a standard 2-inch pine bordered frame. Any reputable & cheap online stores? I'm looking to buy 10 frames.

Doorfilter: A convent nearby is being torn down, and on a whim i bought a number of the room and closet doors from the place. Four of the doors will fit my current house perfectly (style-wise - they are bare-wood exact matches for my painted doors), but four are a different, older style. They're solid pine, five-panel, and they're stained to a dark color. I also pulled all the frames and jambs, for the [cough] hell of it. My question: what can I do with these? I'm mechanically inclined, but I've never done much woodworking.

Framed! I'm moving into a new apartment, and I have about three dozen pictures, posters, and prints that I'd like to frame. Has anybody discovered an inexpensive way to frame pictures? Is it possible to frame them yourself, by, say, getting glass cut at the hardware store? The last picture I got framed cost nearly $90, which was way too expensive.

Does anyone know where i can find cheap, simple black frames for wall hanging in a 4"x4" or 5"x5" format? I'd prefer 4"x4". I'm looking to buy up to 30 of them, hopefully for about $5 each, or less. I've searched through a bunch of sites via Google, but this is pretty much the closest I have gotten. I realize this is a rather specific question, but maybe someone can suggest a good resource for frames in general.
