One of my developers just had got an "office makeover" (mostly a much needed paint job), and now has about a half dozen Ikea
RIBBA frames on the walls. Unfortunately, he hasn't figured out what to put in them. Fortunately, we're all here to help him out.

I am trying to frame a large, tall map for my wife's Christmas gift. Normally I just get a RIBBA frame at IKEA, but the print (24" x 42") doesn't fit any of their sizes. I want to matte it at 3" on each side, bringing it to
30" x 48". My goal is to spend ~$100 on the framing, glass and matte boards... is this possible?

Photoshop semi-newbie here, using CS5. When I create a rectangular selection on a new layer over a layer with a photo, then apply a stroke to create a simple frame, I'd also like to create a subtle drop shadow that would stay outside the shape. That is, the drop shadow should show up on the outside edges of 2 of the sides of the entire rectangular selection, but not inside the other 2 edges. The drop shadow should not be applied to the stroke itself.

When I go to the NBC Olympics site to log in with my cable package details, the iframe that should show the log in fields (username and password) does not load. This is on a win7 machine with both chrome and FF. The problem does not occur on a different computer on the same network (a macbook running 10.6.8). What setting on my computer seems to be blocking this, and how can I get this frame to load?

I want to hang some LP covers on a wall, and remember years ago seeing a cheap little kit that was something like four pieces of clear plastic for the corners, connected by an elastic string X-shape in the back that could hang on a nail. The result was a neat frameless effect that I liked, but I can't find it again. Does anyone know what that kit was and where I can buy it?

How do you adjust plastic eyeglass frames? I have always had wire frames which are easily adjusted (and easily knocked out of true). Can plastic frames be adjusted? Do they need adjusting? Any other opinions on plastic vs. wire?

I need new glasses. Sadly, my choice of frames (RX5226 or RX5150, both Ray-Ban frames) are not available on the UK high street. Are there any trusted online retailers where I can get these frames, either with or without lenses? Or very similar?

A couple of years ago, I tried on a pair of women's eyeglasses with very light pink thickish rectangular frames at Lenscrafters. The arms were also fairly thick. I believe they were DKNY or Donna Karan. They also came in black. Can you help me find them?

Guerilla-coder Javascript filter: Rather than wait 12-18 months to get my project idea into my company's queue, I'm trying to find a workaround. It's going to be ugly. It's going to be messy. And I have no idea how to do it.
Bottom line: My company's web portal has a top frame that I can control, and a bottom frame controlled by Web IT. Can I add an event listener to the top frame that will watch the bottom frame and excecute when it's done loading?

A two part kitchenware/decorating question. Ok, the two parts have not much to do with each other. Except they are both in my house. a) how to hang large photographic prints without frames in a way that looks cool and b) I'm making a lot of yogurt these days and straining it with cheesecloth. The cheesecloth gets kind of funky after a while. What can I use instead or how can I wash it?
