Microsoft Word with chapters and numbered subsections: I was a good boy and wrote my dissertation draft with well-organized hierarchical headings. Now that I am going back to fine-tune the format, the numbering has gone completely haywire, the spacing is off, and I am literally pulling out my hair trying to fix it. I don't even know where to look for help.

Can I strip SOME formatting from text? I'd like to be able to strip all formatting
except HTML links. Even better I'd like to strip all formatting other than HTML, bold and italics. Are there any good workarounds for this?

[WordProcessingFilter] I need
this document formatted a specific way. Bare with me as I try to explain. I don't want the the text beside the date to wrap under the numbers. If it must wrap, I want it to wrap under the first word of the line before it.

How do I get a the rows in a table to stay clumped in fives even if I add or change the data?I have a long list of data that I need to arrange in a table, and I want the rows grouped together in fives. I'm currently working in Microsoft Word, and what I've got looks something like
this Google Doc. I want the table(s) to stay grouped like this even if I add, delete, or change the data. If I just use the Word tables, adding a new line to a group will just create an extra row.

I have a collection of illustrations that a client wants to use in MS Word. I have them in their original Illustrator 9 format, as well as .psd and low-res jpgs.
Is the best option to convert them to Windows metafiles? (They'll need to be resized depending on newsletter content.) How do I do that?
