Anyone here have experience ordering foreign currency online? I know I'm over-preparing for my four day trip to Montreal, but I'd really like to have some CAD in hand when I get there. I'm sorta too lazy to find a bank around here that will do it for me...

I'm moving overseas from the US in less than a year, and my stellar powers of observation tell me that there's a good chance the dollar is going to eat shit before then. My savings are <$10,000, what can I do with them to ensure that I'm not cursing the economy when I leave? Is putting it in foreign currency enough, or is there a better option? How do I do that? Being a 21st Century kind of guy I find myself now doing long-term work for a few companies overseas (India and the U.K.). I would like to be able to open a bank account in each country and just get the money I need via ATM. I'm thinking that since the dollar sucks it would probably be better financially for me long term. Is this a smart move? How hard is it for citizen of the US open a bank account in a foreign country? Do I have to report that income? And if so will I end up getting taxed twice?

I need to get a high-resolution (1 MB) photograph of any university restaurant in Spain for an article I'm writing. I had a contact fall through on me at the last minute and need something fast. I've searched some image data banks online and have drawn a blank. Anyway, I'd prefer something original, not stock. Any ideas? I thought about paying a student a bit of money to take a photograph. Problem is, I don't know any university students in Spain.
