Need to gift a wine bottle to someone who enjoys red wine. I don't know what type of red.
There are so many brands to chose from so since I don't know his taste I would prefer to give something from a recognized winery. Don't want him to think I picked the cheapest red :)

In a few days I will be staying with friend's family in western France, at a house they own. I will be in the UK the next few days.
Normally I would bring wine or chocolates as a thank you for the accommodation, but France does these much better and cheaper than the UK (I am told). I am Canadian. What could I bring that would still be a great gift, that I could find in London? It should be something like food or drink, and something of benefit to people on vacation. Price about $50. The friends I am visiting are French/Canadian and appreciate quality/luxury

I would like to give my parents some type of meal-delivery as a gift for Christmas. Ideally I would like to do a once a month type thing (like wine of the month or something related but with food that doesn't have to be prepared beyond popping in the oven) but everything I find is more like a diet delivery service, like Seattle Sutton, that requires a weekly commitment. Can't afford that! My parents live in the north suburbs of Chicago. thanks!!

This Christmas, I'm giving everyone the gift of delicious and healthy home-cooked meals, but I'm blanking on how to wrap and/or present them at the Christmas Eve festivities. Everything will be pre-frozen, which probably rules out putting them by the tree with the other gifts, and the only other solution I can think of is leaving them in my car and letting everyone take theirs on the way home, which is lame. There must be a better way.
