I'd like to use this font for a craft project but am not able to figure out what it is. Any ideas? Image is in this link.
Trying to identify this typeface for a project. I keep getting close, but no cigar. Hope me? Sample. (It's all I've got to match to.)
I'm looking for a typeface that is preferably condensed, bold, and most importantly one where the "S" and the "2" are mirrored (or at least very similar). If it is a high-end typeface, all the better. Ideas?
I am interested in making a small stamp with a letter Q to use to monogram clothing items. I don't like any of the ones I've seen with an alphabet set. Do you have a typeface with a nice letter Q, either capital or miniscule? I want it to be recognizable/readable and I tend to prefer more modern fonts but I'm open to everything.
My friend recently started watching Transparent on Amazon, and she mentioned that the font used for the credits looks so familiar, like from some '80s TV show, and it's really been bugging her that she can't remember what other show it looks like. She showed me a screencap and I can't figure it out either, and now it's bugging me! Anyone know what '80s (or late '70s possibly?) TV show also used this font, or one very similar to it? Thanks in advance!
I was looking for a comprehensive resource that would explain the correct way of using a designer typeface in a project (for a small company or even a multi-national one). How do we buy it, what kind of usage rights can we obtain, how would a typeface designer even know that one of their fonts was illegally used, ... Basically everything in terms of our rights and the designer rights.
A few years ago, I created this logo for one of my websites. I'm getting ready to remodel the website and want to use the same font when I redesign the logo -- only I can't remember which font this is, and I can't find anything similar. Can you tell me what font this is?
I like this font rather a lot, and would like to find a decently high resolution version for a small project. Don't need ttf files, but do need letters too! [more inside]
Looking for a typeface for a wellness/holistic medicine practice. I know that Papyrus font is a cliche, but it's an effective visual shorthand for this kind of business. Are there other fonts that are less overused, but would still convey or fit with that vibe of green, organic, holistic, natural? [more inside]
I've extracted a .otf font from my Kobo Touch. I'd like to install it on Windows, but Windows can't handle it and neither can any of the font editing programmes I've downloaded. I believe that the file contains multibyte characters. I have tried right clicking and choosing install. I've tried font forge, and several other font related applications. I just get varying error messages saying that it's not a valid font file, despite it working on the Kobo. If it's relevant, the font is Gothic MB101. I'm running Windows 7 - what do I need to do to install this font?
I haven't had any luck identifying this through the WhatTheFont! automagical service nor the Identifont step-by-step quiz so now I bring it to you. What's the typeface used in this old GATOR$ sign?
This screen appears in the first sound film in the Irish language, Oidhche Sheanchais, filmed in 1935. A colleague of mine would like to identify the typeface used for the titles, and the online typeface-identifying sites have struck out. Can any MeFite identify it?
Approximately how old is this sign, and what font is it? The stucco facade could date from as early as the 1920s, but the lettering on the signs looks to my untrained eye to be from the 70s or later.
I'm looking for a font that's based on or looks like the screen font used in the original Taito/Midway Space Invaders from 1978. (Unused witty title for this question: 'Diaresis puny earthlings!')
A project I'm working on uses Handmade Dropshadow JNL for the main title. Obviously, that's not a typeface you can use anywhere other than in the title, so can you recommend a secondary display font for subtitles, headings, and so on? Another web-font would be a plus, but not a requirement.

What is this font? I'm trying to match the cute, handwritten scroll feeling of "just add ice." I'm happy to find a typeface either to buy or a free download. OpenType preferred. My results from Identifont weren't close.

Does anyone know of a free Traditional Chinese kaishu-style font that looks like it was written with a ballpoint pen or pencil (not a calligraphic pen or brush)? I'm currently using HanWangFangSongMedium from this page, which I quite like, but it's in fangsong style. It's for my computer flashcards when trying to remember how to write characters (e.g English word -> Chinese character). [more inside]

Designers, type designers, font geeks - I need your help please. In the past, each "era" has had a typeface that came to represent the "spirit" of that era. Does anyone have suggestions for a good typeface for a point-of-sale receipt printer? I have a project to design messages printed on the bottom of a cash register receipt. These are B&W thermal printers, about 200-250 DPI. The text is 6-12 points. We're going primarily for readability and cleanliness and we're happy to pay for quality. Before we go with what we already have (Verdana, Arial, etc.), we'd love suggestions for what might be better.

How do you pick fonts that go well with one another? I recently decided to rewrite my resume, and I'm trying to decide what font to use for the body. My name, and the headings, are in Copperplate Gothic Bold. How do I find a second font for the body that will look good with Copperplate Gothic? Are there rules? A cheat sheet? Thanks
