The other day I was watching the movie and like the font. First I thought it's TNR then I thought maybe some Sans but I couldn't figure out.
I loved the clean spacious fonts. Which one was it? [more inside]

A project I'm working on uses Handmade Dropshadow JNL
for the main title. Obviously, that's not a typeface you can use anywhere other than in the title, so can you recommend a secondary display font for subtitles, headings, and so on? Another web-font would be a plus, but not a requirement.

Help me ID this disco font
please? It's from an old flyer I'm trying to restore, the thin lines + jpg artifacts are stumping all the auto font identifiers out there. Thanks!

Help me identify the font of the logo for the Belly card. It can be seen on their website here
is it a custom logo design or a font? I feel live I've seen it before. Thanks!

I'm having trouble choosing which font(s) to use -- for example, for a flyer or poster. I don't have a graphic design background or much experience with it, but sometimes I have to design simple pieces for my job. Are there any introductory online resources that can help me learn more so that no one will point and laugh when they see a flyer I made? I'll be looking at this thread
and this thread
, too. My main fear is that I'll put something together and someone will point and laugh and say, "Oh no, you used THAT font?"

I designed a display font a few years back and released it free for non-commercial use. I occasionally get requests to use words or letters set in the font for commercial purposes. What is a reasonable amount to charge? [more inside]

I'm looking for a way to snazz up my documents (and in particular my thesis) so it looks a lot less like the canned default Word/Pages themes. Any suggestions on some nice looking (free to cheap) fonts and document layouts I can use anywhere from short report and research proposals to my full-blown thesis? [more inside]

I'm looking for the website of an Eastern-European, I think, designer & typographer who designed some cool-looking Western (cowboy-style) fonts with a former-Soviet-satellite flair. The site had scans of some of his sketchbooks. Anyone?

Which font format should I buy? MyFonts.com's FAQ suggests that OpenType is the wave of the future and the first truly cross-platform format. But I want to be sure that what I get will work with all my older software, older Mac OS (as well as my main Win XP machine), and wherever I get things printed. [more inside]

Browsing through my logs and exploring the links leading to “25 Best License-Free Quality Fonts”, I accidentally discovered Delicious
– two unique, delightful, delicious, license-free beauties, which definitely will make a lasting positive impression on the visitors of your web-projects.
However, there is a problem. The fonts can be used only on a Mac-PC, which means that I don't have any use of them whatsoever. So how could I convert a Mac-font to PC-font? Are there any freeware tools which would convert the fonts without loss of quality?

Is there a blackletter typeface in default Windows installations? – or at least a fairly common one? I've got an idea for a website with blackletter drop caps and the occasional heading. I'd rather not resort to images since it's otherwise all C.S.S.
