Fast and cheap wildflowers in Chicago?

In the midst of wedding preparations here in Chicago, I have totally whiffed on flowers. We want to Midwest prairie flower corsages and such for our wedding this Saturday based around some milkweed pods we've been saving. We tried Kennicott's to no avail because they only do wholesale. Any ideas for where on the northside of Chicago we could go to cheaply (or even for free, if we're ethically picking something) acquire wildflowers and grasses this week?

Florist near Voodoo Doughnuts?

Just got word that friends are tying the knot at Voodoo Doughnuts in Portland tomorrow (Friday!) evening. I've never been to Portland and my Google-fu isn't quite up to par right now - anyone know the closest/best florist to 1501 N.E. Davis Street?

From little things, big things grow...

Is there an eco florist in your town? I'd like to hear from you! I have been inspired by this florist in Melbourne I recently discovered. I've had a wander around the internets but I'm aware that many small or very local businesses around the world may not have webpages or publicity. [more inside]

Ordering Flowers Long Distance

I need to send flowers to a family in Surrey, British Columbia, and I'd like a recommendation for a local company that can be depended on to do a good job with a bit of style - i.e., different from the standard FTD/800-FLOWERS arrangements. Google turned up a company called Kyla's - are they likely to be what I'm looking for?
