I have some Macintosh-formatted floppy disks from the 1990s. They
contain data I would like to have (old writing, Quicken files, etc.).
Leaving aside issues of media integrity, how do I transfer these to a
modern Mac. I have no access to Mac floppy drive of any kind. I do
have access to PCs with floppy drives. But, of course, under normal
circumstances a PC doesn't recognize a Mac-formatted disk. How do
I get my data from these floppies to my MacBook Pro?

Lots and lots (and lots and lots) of 3.5" disks. Don't want to just trash them. Any ideas (possibly crafty) on recycling them? [more inside]

How do I get something other then a floppy drive to show up as the a: drive in Windows 2000? It could be a USB jump drive or a mapped drive, it doesn't matter so long as it's not a floppy. I have an old legacy application that only loads its data from a:, and it's driving me insane keeping stacks of floppies around.
