What's going on with Flickr? Myself, my wife, and people we know, are getting dozens of our photos favourited...by people with no photos of their own, no profile, and no contacts. And they never leave any comments. What's this all about? Some kind of scam? Spam? Or completely innocent?

On flickr, why isn't there a method or hack to upload pictures WITH TAGS & DESCRIPTIONS from Adobe Elements Photo Album, or any other Windows based album software.
I'm not a programer, but it seems that the web savy community has come up with a solution to a new problem every day, why not this one?
Won't this be a useful solution?

How useful / rewarding are you finding Flickr? Is it worth it for me to spend time uploading and tagging photos, and to bug my friends to join? It looks very cool and like a social network that's actually good for something: it also looks like kind of a lot of work, especially since I can't keep all my photos there or print pictures from Flickr.
My love of cool web apps says "yea," while my schedule says "nay." What say ye?
