Got rid of fleas, now for the flea dirt

My pooch was eaten the heck up with fleas, and after about two months, some laundromat trips, a trip to the vet, etc, we've been flea-free for a couple of weeks now. I'm having a heck of a time trying to get rid of the flea dirt he had picked up, however. [more inside]
