I'm more than sure I found this on Metafilter, but have no idea of the name. Essentially it's a game you only get to play once--pretty sure it's flash-based. Some sort of disease has wiped out most of the world and you only have a week (?) to make your choices: spend time with the ones you love (iirc your daughter is the only one left)/enjoy what's left of the world or continue researching the cure in the hope that you will find it and cure humanity before your time is up. Every day you wake up with a choice of what to do. [more inside]
I’m trying to remember a recent browser-based Flash game. It was a vertical scroller, overhead space-themed shooter, something I saw online within the past 6-12 months. You had a ship and you’d pick up weapons. Your bullets were meagre at first, and then numerous as you upgraded your weapons. The screen would fill up with bad guys, bullets everywhere, general mayhem that you could only survive with a constant inflow of invincibility powerups. What was this game?

Help my wife and I remember this (likely flash) game. Blue backgrounds progressively transitioning to black, horizontal scrolling and snowfall may have been involved. [more inside]
Can you recommend some browser-based, turn-based tactical games? Basically, I want to play tabeltop Warhammer while I'm at work. [more inside]

Can you identify this not-famous game? Filter: Looking for an online game I lost. A very simplistic, grid-based drag-and-line-up same-colored squares game (Flash). I want to locate the game and hopefully download it for offline play. But first I need to find it! [more inside]
Looking for a Japanese flash game I played 7-8 years ago -- similar to kitten cannon, but the "launcher" is a girl on a bike, and the projectile is a boy. [more inside]
I'm trying to find a little Japanese flash game I found in either 08 or 09. It was a cute, quirky thing where you were a little sumo and you had to smash small things to build up your strength - eventually going to to smash very large things like temples and bits of mountain. [more inside]
Can anyone identify this flash game? I played it at least 5 years ago, it is episodic (each episode online for a month), beautifully animated, by a French team, set on an island with many locations, populated by a wide range of interesting characters, full of little casual games, available in a number of European languages, and may have been called something beginning with B! Looking for a flash game from a few years ago that was a kind of top-down view of battles, where you set your army up in formation at one side of a grid, and command them to do different tasks. The enemy is at the other side of the grid. IIRC it was medieval-esque, but possibly as you progressed through the game, you might have traveled forward through time as well. [more inside]
So I stumbled upon this flash game the other day, and it was fun, now I can't find it, wtf? [more inside]
I'm playing a certain flash game. I'd like to be able to pause when I like, repeat levels at will, and so on (the game does not normally allow this). What's my best bet? Any cool standalone flash players that will let me do this?
