I bought some stock video footage of a dog on a green background which I plan to chroma key out. Then I want to morph seamlessly into a graphic - still with the background masked out! And I want to do this all in Flash! For my Christmas Card! Not a total newbie at all of this - details inside. [more inside]

I am trying to remember a website that I found about 4 years ago. It was a flash site that enabled you to build or draw structures, then set them into motion. You could mess around with gravity strength, etc. You could load other people's creations, then alter them as you saw fit. Perhaps the name had something to do with string? The site was mostly white...
That's about all I can remember. Let's see what the hive mind can do with such a sparse description. Thanks everyone.

I draw paper dolls, and I would like to be able to make a dress-up game in Flash out of them. I can find tutorials about making simple dress-up games easily enough, but I have two questions that none of the tutorials seem to answer: one about linked layers and one about "snapping" the outfit in place. There was a flash game entitled Diablo III that circulated the internet five or so years ago, that was a parody of the Diablo series. The game basically consisted of clicking on a box as rapidly as possible. However, I can't find it anymore. Do you know where it lives?

Flash-physics-filter: I'm working on a simple flash game similar to curveball
, but I can't figure out 1) how the script determines the amount of spin/curve to put on the ball, and 2) how the AI gets progressively better as the levels increase.

My son, it turns out, is a genius with Flash animation, at least as far as his high school has allowed him to pursue it. He is very excited (and that means a lot in a teen!) about the idea of animation now that he is thinking about career plans for his future. What resources, advice, schools, courses, etc. can I give him to help him leverage his interest into a possible career path? We're in central Florida, if that means anything.

How can I best set up a question regarding furniture rearrangement (in terms of spatially rearranging things, with measurements) on the Internet, and is Ask Mefi the best source or are there other communities that would be better? Are there Flash tools that let you post furniture floorplans and let others come and rearrange things? Why has Youtube started plaing in Flash?
I am on a dialup, so if there is anything I want to see, I know it is a matter of clicking, minimizing, and waiting a half hour to hit view again.
This morning, it started playing in flash mode, the little circle of dots going round, and even if I let it load all the way and hit watch again, its starts loading again.
My computer?, or just changes at YT?
