Advice to an absolute beginner: Should I try to learn Flash and ActionScript for creating games and rapid prototyping of ideas? Or some other technology? Because of iOS, is Flash going the way of the dodo? If I try to learn Flash, will I be painting myself into a tech corner, so to speak? [more inside]

Flash CS4: How do I take segments that currently start at frame 100, and have them start on frame 500, without physically dragging them to that spot on the timeline? Is there a command to "go to frame X"?

Help me find this cool site! Site was an example of crowd dynamics. The site presented a shared space and a random assortment of letters, like Scrabble tiles, that could be dragged around the screen to spell out words. [more inside]
