I’m trying to remember a recent browser-based Flash game. It was a vertical scroller, overhead space-themed shooter, something I saw online within the past 6-12 months. You had a ship and you’d pick up weapons. Your bullets were meagre at first, and then numerous as you upgraded your weapons. The screen would fill up with bad guys, bullets everywhere, general mayhem that you could only survive with a constant inflow of invincibility powerups.
What was this game?

I am creating a Flash presentation for a fundraiser combatting child sex slavery. It will show a stopwatch, and every two minutes a number will increment showing how many children have been taken. I have it all put together in Flash CS4, but am a visual design person flummoxed on making the script for incrementing the dynamic text by 1 every 120 seconds. Any actionscripters out there who can advise will be helping a fantastic cause. Thanks!

I'm looking for some websites for the beginner. I'm fine with the animation part. That is (relatively) easy. But I'm pretty much totally lost on the Action script part of it, and the Adobe tutorials are a little complicated for my idiot self. I'm just a little ol' designer and all this talk of code and scripts and computer lingo is freaking me out. I'll take anything. Any ideas. Any help. Anything. Thank you.

Our new Kindle Fire is great, but it tells us we need to update our Flash Player when we want to watch Glee. If I try to DL the new file from the Adobe message, it seems to stall right after it starts. If I go to settings, it shows that Flash is " Always on". I haven't tried any other shows on FOX, but it seems to work fine for NBC stuff. Any Ideas?

I need a simple program (an SWF preferably) that will let me assign locally-stored sound clips to my PC's keyboard. Something like the
Jingle Keyboard freeware, or a flash soundboard, but will let me assign specific sounds to specific keys -- such as sound1.mp3 to C, sound2.mp3 to V, etc..

Several years ago, I saw a website with a fun little flash or javascript applet thingy where you could build little tensegrity structure creatures, then have oscillating movements applied to the pieces, so that the structures would seem to "walk". I don't remember what it was called! From memory, one of the simpler structures looked sort of like
this. What was it? Is it still online?

Recently, my computer has decided to be very particular about what it will allow to connect to the internet. Some programs, like uTorrent and Filezilla, can connect fine and have no problems. But things like self-updaters and Flash-based uploading cannot connect. The same thing happens on two different internet connections on two different wireless networks whose configurations have not been changed since before this started (I do not have a wired network to test). I have not made any significant changes to my computer since before this started. I'm running Windows 7 x64 Ultimate. What could be causing the problem? How can I fix it? What caused the problem in the first place?

I'm trying to find a little Japanese flash game I found in either 08 or 09. It was a cute, quirky thing where you were a little sumo and you had to smash small things to build up your strength - eventually going to to smash very large things like temples and bits of mountain.

I am looking for a program that will easily allow me to create a Flash banner. All I want is to create a banner that has about 4 images fading in and out and some animated text over top. I should think this would be super easy but I am trying to find a software program to do it and I am coming up with either stuff that's way too complex or software that can't do it.
Do you know of any program that would help me? (It doesn't need to be free, I can spend up to 100 USD on it).
