I'm looking for flashcards that are just pictures of everyday objects (e.g. shoes, milk, banana). No text on the picture side. Bonus points if they also show varying quantities of each object.
How do I get Firefox (47.0.1) to stop asking me about Flash? I want to answer "Yes, I want Flash to run here, there, and everywhere, always! Stop nagging me!" [more inside]
I have a drawing tablet and I enjoy my hobby of designing prints, however I want to get better at it and am looking for the best resources. Specifically techniques I'm interested in and programs to help. [more inside]

I'm trying to help some art directors deal with the looming demise of Flash banner development (largely driven by Google having Chrome essentially neuter them this Fall). What are some good resources I can share with them to re-align their thinking toward the possibilities and limitations of HTML5? These are designers, not coders, so I'm thinking less about "use Sizzle or Zepto", though they would need to be mindful about what kinds of compositions have more/less efficient payloads than Flash.
I just want to draw with no computery-looking business, and the eraser has smoothing applied with no discernible disable option. Am I missing something? [more inside]

I am about to try and put a jellybean rom on a 2010 cellphone presently running android 1.6. An updated version of android isn't going to change the hardware though, so I need the lightest apps available. Or perhaps it's even better to not upgrade and there are markets with old versions of software or new software for old OS verisons? Join me inside please. [more inside]
I use Macs. I use a flash drive to carry powerpoint presentations and other documents that I need to access on PC's running various flavours of Windows, which are not mine and I will not have administrator access to. Is there a way that I can protect/encrypt the drive in a way that will let me use it on both systems, without having to pre-install software on the Windows system? I do not need government-grade encryption, just something that will stop casual snoopers accessing the data if I lose the drive.
I have had three flash drives recently, and they keep failing. This is why I am buying more. When I used the newest one tonight (not for the first time) I got a balloon message saying, "Your drive has malfunctioned and is no longer recognized by the computer." (I got that message or similar on the first two.) [more inside]
Firefox is not loading youtube video for me. I've tried many things (see inside for what I've tried). I am utterly stumped. [more inside]
Some years ago I played a Flash game set around the time of WWI. You played a female spy, moved around a house & its basement, and picked up objects to use. Anybody remember what game this was, or the author's name? Thanks.
I have about 100 brand new very high quality USB drives (between 8gb and 256GB...most of them are the larger end). What can I do with them? I bought them thinking they were going to fail, and I was going to go through them. But I found out that high quality shit doesn't fail within 6 mos. [more inside]
I remember playing a game ages (ten years?) ago on (now defunct) bonus.com, which involved manipulating different-coloured cars using switches and other things. I played it on a desktop computer, and it used flash or shockwave. One needed to get a certain amount of cars into specific places to pass the level. The game was played from a top-down perspective. There were many levels. I think, though I may be mistaken, that the game had a person's name in the title. Can you help me find it? [more inside]

I am starting a music/lifestyle blog. I want to be able to post songs from the artists on the blog (with their permission of course) on the blog's Facebook page to get the word of mouth going. I don't have enough web expertise to code from scratch, but if I had a player I could customize, I can modify the look and feel to my the blog. Any ideas on a Flash based mp3 player I could use? It could work on other platforms but it definitely has to work on Facebook too. PS. thinking of something along the lines of what soundcloud uses www.facebook.com/soundcloud
I give up. I saw a flash cartoon. Maybe, what, ten years ago? There was a miniature king. Birds. Talking birds? It was dream-like. The sound sparse and excellent. I remember the thing being theme-wise pretty dark. I've since looked high and low and have not been able to find it. Any ideas?

Does flash show as flash in Windows task manager in XP? - It's invisible even when I play videos which are obviously using flash. Are the resources consumed by flash 'lumped in' with the CPU utilization consumed by my browser as I see it in Task Manager? [more inside]
The Internet! Full of fun, narrated explainer videos that usually involve some kind of simple 2D animation (sometimes hand-drawn, sometimes cobbled together from other images) with a voice-over. But how are people making them? If Flash is in terminal decline, as I keep hearing, what are the most popular software tools for piecing together 2D online animation?
The problem: I've been given H264 files with 8 channels of audio. I need to convert these to FLV files for a live preview. [more inside]
Initially, I was having issues with Flash in Firefox, fixing that caused problems with my video drivers breaking. Partially fixing that caused problems with Chrome. Is there a way to fix all of these things? [more inside]
My 9-year-old daughter likes to animate things on GoAnimate.com. The website allows you to upload flash animations, and she'd like to make her own animations of, say, the Sesame Street characters. The canonical program for building flash animations is Adobe Flash Professional. I'm guessing that is beyond her capabilities (and may be beyond mine!). Are there simpler programs that allow a patient but unsophisticated user to build very simple flash animations?
I would like to create a private music streaming service for a small circle of friends, using Amazon S3, Cloudfront, an HTML5 player and a password-protected website. Is this possible? How to do it best? (Full walkthrough of the idea within.) [more inside]
I'm looking for a mini flash game that I used to play back in the day (I would say, 2006?) that if I remember correctly had graphics similar to critter crunch Their were a bunch of mini games and it looked Japanese. I have been dying to find it again, but this is all I can remember about it. I'm hoping one of you knows what I'm talking about. Anyone?
Why is this method inaccessible? My document class (Main) has a public function setButtonStates(). I have a custom class that extends MovieClip that needs to access that function. There are 5 instances of this class on the stage at compile-time (and they are never removed) but the compiler isn't happy. It says "1195 Attempted access of inaccessible method setButtonStates through a reference with static type Main". [more inside]

Help me find a flash game where you built a spaceship from parts of enemy ships [more inside]
I’m trying to remember a recent browser-based Flash game. It was a vertical scroller, overhead space-themed shooter, something I saw online within the past 6-12 months. You had a ship and you’d pick up weapons. Your bullets were meagre at first, and then numerous as you upgraded your weapons. The screen would fill up with bad guys, bullets everywhere, general mayhem that you could only survive with a constant inflow of invincibility powerups. What was this game?
