MetaNetowrkingGeek question.

I have an XP box behind a wireless Belkin -g router (it's hardwired to the router, my powerbook uses the G around the house).

I'm going to be away for a week.

I'm on a Dynamic IP via comcast.

How do I access my machine:
Optimally -
1) Windows Remote Access (There's a Mac client - I could control the PC)
2) SMB (or FTP if SMB is blocked/not secure enough)

I get the whole "dyndns" and it's variants (although I'm not sure it's set up right). It's just not working. Port mapping at the router? What? What? What to do?

Geek Question: I took a look at my router's firewall. I'm getting a number of DDos attacks. Now, the firewall is acting all nice and blocking it...but, I'm sure this causing a slow down in my surfing/net use, etc.

Any ideas on how to make it stop?
