What is wrong with my firefox? It seems like firefox has forgotten how to display backgrounds and colors on web pages. I don't know anything about css or html, so I don't really know what the problem is, but I posted a couple screenshots of two pages and the error console for one in
this album. I have tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling firefox, but with no luck. Chrome and Safari work fine.
This is on an Acer Aspire One running Windows XP.

HP used to have a piece of software called "Smart Web Printing" or something. It essentially allowed you to yank multiple pieces of text and media from different websites and put them all on a single page for easy printing. However, it stopped working when Firefox 3 came out and there's no indication of continued development. Is there a similar extension available? I miss my clip book!

I'm sick of "not available in your country" messages. What's the best workaround? I've tried looking for proxies but I can never seem to find a decent one and when I do find one that works (briefly) changing back and forth is a real pain.

How can I get Firefox (3.0.1) to log my browsing history to plain text files (preferably XML, but any that isn't essential)? At a minimum I'd like the URL, page title, and a timestamp for when I loaded the page. It would be nice to have how the page was accessed (via a link? direct entry?) and how long was spent on it.

Since upgrading to Skype 4.0 Firefox has started to crash, frequently, without Skype open. Is Skype the cause? What shall I do to avoid the crashing? BTW, I am not too nimble at computer wizardry, need basic advice. Tnx.

Is it possible to set up 2 different Firefox "accounts" on the same computer, with each account having separate bookmarks, settings, etc. In addition, is it possible to import bookmarks from AOL to Firefox? My wife is thinking of shifting to Firefox, but we're wondering if it would be too much of a hassle, given her hundreds of bookmarks/"favorites"--and the desire for each of us to have our own customized version of the software.

I have an Thinkpad X61 that I use both at work and home. Internet at work requires a proxy while at home I have WiFi. Switching browser settings is no problem thanks to the awesome Connection Manager software that ships with the Thinkpad.
But now things have become a bit complicated. I had to install FoxyProxy because some sites needed a different connection which the regular proxy couldn't handle. Now when I connect to the internet at home, I have to remember to disable foxyproxy otherwise the Internet doesn't work.
Is there a way to disable the foxyproxy extension via the command line so that I can automate this process? Google isn't helping. FWIW, I have AutoIt and Autohotkey installed although I'm not really a programmer.

I'm looking for an extension that on any web page will allow you to click on a frame and black out everything else on the page, kind of like Pages 09 does when you go to full screen mode. One of the nice features of Safari on the iphone is that double tapping on any frame will zoom in, filling the window with just that frame. On my iMac zooming in would be unneeded, but blacking out everything except that frame would be fantastic. Anyone know of any that does anything similar?

Whenever I try to type ä's, ö's and å's (or any character that requires Alt + x), my tabs in Firefox go crazy, and no character results. I presume this is because Alt + x is a preprogrammed shortcut in Firefox to switch tabs. Any idea how I can turn this off?

Resolution Filter. I'd like to have a Firefox add-in that will help me stop impulse buying. Does anyone know of a shopping cart tool that will help me wait 24 hours before buying something? Perks would include not being tied to any particular e-commerce site or wish list and have an easy to use interface (this is all the stuff you liked yesterday on one page.) Thanks!
